SARA BARTOLI PAVIA
Consultant - M.A. Fin Serv, B.Com (Hons) Insurance and Finance, CeFA
Sara has been participating in the local insurance industry since 2004, working with leading players in critical business roles. Having read for her Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Insurance and Finance from the University of Malta in 2011, graduating first in her class, Sara continued on to obtain her Certificate for Financial Advisors (CeFA) in 2013. In 2016, Sara graduated with a Master of Arts in Financial Services from the University of Malta. Today, Sara is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta.
When it comes to insurance, particularly long-term contracts and pensions, Sara is qualified and very experienced both from a business and academic perspective. Whether its strategy, intermediary network management, sales planning, product development, customer experience, compliance, training or digitisation, she will make sure to tailor the right solution for your business needs together with you. Sara also has strategic, managerial and operational experience within the financial services industry, and may be of assistance within your day-to-day setup when it comes to policy design, risk management, crisis control or project management. Throughout her career, Sara spent a number of years working and analysing employee benefit solutions and other insurance needs for businesses. She is also accustomed to developing and delivering training material within her field in order to enhance financial education or to pass on technical knowledge and skills to individuals within the sector.
LAWRENCE PAVIA
Consultant - FCII, MA, Chartered Insurance Broker
Having worked in the insurance industry since 1981, mainly as an insurance broker and risk consultant, Lawrence has handled a number of large industrial and commercial enterprises, many of which are listed on the Malta Stock Exchange. These include international organisations with operations in Malta.
He was the founder of one of the top brokers in Malta. “I have assisted clients involved in large infrastructural projects from concept until execution and operational stages,” he notes.
He also serves as an independent non-executive Director on a number of international insurance entities based in Malta.
